Made by someone on the same journey
The Quiet Hours exists to meet one simple need: helping regular people rediscover the richness and beauty of ancient prayer and liturgy, in language and rhythms they can actually use.
It was created by musician and author Andrew Osenga. For twenty-five years, Andrew worked as a touring artist, guitarist, songwriter, and record executive in the Christian music industry — and for the last several, he’s led Anchor Hymns, a multi-generational community of artists writing new sacred songs for the modern church.
Beyond The Quiet Hours, he can be found writing weekly on his popular faith and culture Substack and on his podcast, The Pivot (also on video). His first book, How to Remember, tells his personal story of discovering hymns and liturgy — you can find it here.
Andrew lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife, three daughters and toy poodle, Pippa. He hikes at Radnor Lake State Park every morning he can.
A quiet place to begin again
Let’s be friends. We like to send out occasional prayers, thoughts, or other things we’ve found helpful on our journey.
(And don’t worry. We don’t like spam either, and promise not to email you too much.)
